Step 1)

Sign into your BigCommerce store


Step 2)

Click on “Advanced Settings” in the left hand sidebar navigation



Step 3)

Click on “API Accounts” at the bottom of the advanced settings menu



Step 4)

Click the “Create API Account” button and click “Create V2/V3 API Token” from the dropdown



Step 5)

Enter a name for the API account - e.g. “Huboo” 




Step 6)

Copy the API Path to your clipboard



Step 7)

Now log into your Huboo dashboard and go to the “Channels” page (link at the bottom of the left hand sidebar navigation)


Step 8)

Click the BigCommerce Icon


Step 9)

Click the “Add Shop” button



Step 10)

Paste your “API Path” from your clipboard into the “API Path” field in Huboo


Step 11)

Navigate back to BigCommerce… you now need to define your “OAuth Scopes” - i.e. which aspects of your store Huboo requires access to. 


We recommend selecting the fullest degree of access possible, by selecting at very least the following options:

Step 12)

Once you’ve selected the OAuth scopes above, click the “Save” button in the bottom right hand side of the page



Step 13)

A file will automatically download from BigCommerce containing your API Key details. Save this file somewhere easy to locate (you won’t be able to access these details through the website again, so keep them safe!)


Step 14)

Keep the API Credentials page open in BigCommerce in a separate window/tab 



Step 15)

Copy the Client ID, Client Secret and Access Token to your clipboard and paste these into the respective fields in Huboo


Step 16)

Click “Connect”
